Bringing the beauty of Claude Monet into the bedroom is easier than you think — and it doesn’t require investing in a million-dollar painting. Thanks to a collaboration between the Los Angeles County Museum of Modern Art and luxury loungewear brand Lunya, you can swathe yourself in the artist’s painting Nymphéas [Water Lilies], printed on silk.
Monet’s original painting was inspired by the calming water garden housed at his estate in Normandy, France, and in an effort to inspire the same peace and solace before bed, Lunya and LACMA teamed up to create a bespoke line of thermoregulating sleepwear that’s as gorgeous as it is practical.
Lunya stated that the goal was to revere “rest as an art form in its own right.” We might not be much of painters, but if sleep counts as art, we’re skilled artists.
“May your wearable work of art be the reminder that your self-care rituals are worthy of their very own marvel and wonderment.”

Because Lunya’s products are made from 100 percent washable Mulberry silk, they are an investment, but the high price point is worth it. The natural material will keep you cooler while you sleep, is easy to launder at home, and is softer on the skin, decreasing friction and dryness when worn regularly. The editors at Katie Couric Media love the brand’s masks and pajamas, as they’re extremely comfortable and keep us sweat-free throughout the night.
The collection features four pajama sets and one sleep mask, all of which feature the same water lily design. You can choose from matching sets (that could easily be mixed with other pajama pieces) or opt for a midi-length nightgown, which we’d dare to say is beautiful enough to wear outside of the bedroom.
