Over 60 years ago, six-year-old Ruby Bridges walked through the doors of an all-white elementary school in Louisiana, making her the first African-American student to desegregate the school, and propelling the civil rights movement to new heights. Thank you, Ruby, for being so brave and for paving the way for so many others.
