About The Foggy Dog
Have you ever watched your dog rip its brand-new bed to shreds? Yeah, we know the feeling: Woulda, shoulda, coulda bought that higher quality (but unfortunately colored) bed with the ripstop, waterproof fabric. Unimpressed by the unattractive or cheaply made dog gear in many stores, Rose Shattuck founded The Foggy Dog to help pet parents find durable pet supplies that fit into their home decor. The company sells beds, collars, bandanas, and more, all handcrafted in San Francisco using high-quality materials like upcycled denim and nylon climbing rope. Plus, The Foggy Dog sends a half-pound of food to rescue shelters with each purchase — the perfect excuse to update your dog’s wardrobe every season.

Why we love them
Finally, a dog bed that won’t clash with your decor, and accessories that don’t look like they were cut from paper-thin fabric with dull scissors. KCM’s Ciara says her family loves the Climbing Rope Dog Leash. Not one of their dogs (which includes two goldendoodles, a toy poodle, and an Australian Shepherd) has managed to chew through it yet, and the lobster-snap closure doesn’t get jammed with sand at the beach, which is even more impressive. KCM’s Kat says her dog loves his Highland Plaid Flannel Collar, which has a sturdy nylon core covered by soft, comfortable flannel. Team KCM has its eyes on this year’s Holiday collection: There’s no telling how many bandanas we’ll be ordering ahead of December.
