About Saltery

After encountering colorful, flavorful salts at a market in Paris, Lily Leedom returned to her beachside home in Duxbury, MA, and realized she could recreate some of that edible magic. Thus began a yearslong labor of love that saw Leedom hauling buckets of seawater home and experimenting with the dehydrating process until she achieved the perfect feathery flake that looks beautiful and tastes amazing. The next step was adding flavor and color by blending salt with herbs and spices, or infusing it with natural ingredients to create seasonings for every occasion, from decorating cocktail rims and sprinkling on salads to the perfect topping on soups and even desserts. It’s a difference you can taste.
