About Andie Swim
While searching high and low for a work-retreat-appropriate bathing suit in 2016, Melanie Travis realized how truly unpleasant swimsuit shopping can be. She dreamed up the idea of creating better suits paired with a better shopping experience, and a few months later took the plunge into making it a reality with Andie Swim. The company incorporated feedback from more than 300,000 women when designing their one- and two-pieces, which are available in sizes XS to XXXL (as well as long torso and maternity versions). Travis also developed a comprehensive fit-finding system, complete with free returns and exchanges and consultations with experts. Gone are the days of struggling into mediocre swimsuits in a fluorescent dressing room: Andie Swim makes the process nearly as breezy as a walk along the beach.
Why we love them
Unlike your run-of-the-mill swimsuits that pull, slip, and wear out, Andie Swim’s suits are designed to stay put, boost your confidence, and last multiple summers. If you’re not sure where to start, KCM’s Mary Kate recommends the fit quiz, which asks which parts of your body you want to emphasize (or de-emphasize) and how you prioritize coverage or bust support. For extra help, Andie’s Fit Experts are available through every step of your purchase, whether you’re looking for fit advice, sizing help, or a second opinion. For an option that won’t fly off when you dive into the pool, the Full Coverage Amalfi has medium bust support and adjustable straps, and you can choose what level of bottom coverage you prefer. On the other end of the spectrum, the String Bikini Top and Bottom are just the right level of sexy while still providing enough coverage to keep you comfortable. You really can’t lose, especially with free shipping and returns.
