About HYER GOODS
After a decade in corporate fashion, Dana Cohen got sick and tired of watching untouched fabrics sit on backroom shelves. Determined to find a smarter, more sustainable business model in an industry that’s one of the leading contributors to global waste, Cohen struck out on her own and founded HYER GOODS. The company’s timeless bags and accessories are made with leftover leather and fabric scraps that fashion factories would otherwise throw away. By using materials already in circulation, HYER GOODS eliminates the greenhouse gases necessary to make something new and cuts down on what we’re adding to landfills. And best of all, these are some seriously stylish, elegant pieces.
Why we love them
We can’t decide what’s most impressive: HYER GOODS’ landfill-diverted leather, its resale forum, its women-owned factory, or its sustainability blog. Regardless, we don’t know of another company with responsible consumption more woven into its existence.
