In case you haven’t noticed, Katie has become fond of inviting superstar culinary creators into her kitchen. But cooking is a family affair in the Couric-Molner house! In this blast from the past video, we’re taking you back to 2017, when Katie and John embarked upon the gourmet expedition of a lifetime: Their Full Plate series.
Back in pre-Covid times (ah, those were the days!), the pair teamed up with Sur la Table national chef Joel Gamoran. Gamoran taught them how to elegantly throw together delicious, healthy dinners that suited their busy lives. And who among us doesn’t need occasional help beating that “too busy to cook” mentality?
In this bite-sized episode, Katie and the Full Plate team cooked up a riff on a Baja classic: Shrimp tacos. Expect spicy seasoning (that you can adjust as needed!), a simple slaw, and a decadent avocado crema.
