Nicole is a traveling nurse who has been working in COVID hotspots across the US since the beginning of the pandemic. She is currently in North Dakota, an area that is experiencing a surge in COVID cases – over the past week, there has been an average of 543 cases per day. She spoke to Katie Couric about what she’s seeing in North Dakota, and what she’s most concerned about with the upcoming holidays.
