Author Harlan Coben joins us to share his weekend picks
What to Read: The Law of Innocence by Michael Connelly. Connelly is the creator of the Bosch book/TV series, but this novel features the “Lincoln Lawyer” (maybe you saw the movie with Matthew McConaughey?) Mickey Haller. Guaranteed to be riveting.
What to Watch: I need to catch up on the new season of This Is Us. I know the show can be manipulative, but man, it works my tear ducts like no other.
What to Listen To: Juice Wrld tragically died a year ago at the age of 21, but he left us a plethora of new music. The touching song “Reminds Me of You” with The Kid Laroi was released this week, so I’ll dive back into that and Juice Wrld’s entire catalog.
What I’ll Be Cooking: I love Rachael Ray and with the kids home from college — yes, we’ve been very safe with testing and quarantining — we will break out Rachael’s Chow Fun Chinese Noodles with Beef dish. My mouth is watering as I type this…
What I’ll Be Doing: Being a close friend of (name drop alert!) John Molner, I’m looking at the weather and hoping to sneak out for one final round of golf before the season ends. This will be my eighth “final round.” The Cobens also have a new family member — an adorable Havanese puppy named Winslow, who joins our other Havanese, Laszlo, so I’ll be walking and playing with them.
