About Paravel
On course to be the first 100% sustainable travel brand by the end of 2021, Paravel doesn’t make eco-friendliness a priority, but the priority. Co-founders Indre Rockefeller and Andy Krantz set out to develop a line of timeless luggage that travelers would be excited to carry. In the process, they created the Aviator, the first-ever carbon-neutral suitcase. In addition to offsetting the carbon emissions from manufacturing and shipping the Aviator, Paravel offsets the estimated emissions from your first trip. That effort’s already resulted in a reduction of more than 8,000 tons of CO2 and reused more than two million plastic bottles. Made of eco-certified materials, Paravel has something to offer frequent flyers and weekend trippers alike.

Why we love them
If you’ve been using the same carry-on since 2004, Paravel is your opportunity for an update. We’re loving the Aviator Carry-On, crafted with a recycled polycarbonate shell that’s both lightweight and durable, and a nylon lining created from 15 recycled plastic bottles. That’s not to mention the Aviator’s other features designed to make travel effortless, from frictionless wheels to a built-in combination lock. (And the too-cool olive green color is easy on the eyes.) Paravel also sells sets of packing cubes to keep your suitcase organized, as well as fanny packs, duffels, totes, and more that are stylish and responsibly made.
