At the ripe old age of 21, Cami Téllez made the decision to drop out of Columbia University and start an underwear brand that flew in the face of the status quo. Tellez grew up seeing a series of airbrushed, ultra-thin white lingerie models, and decided that the American underwear story needed a rewrite. Three years later, Parade has sold more than a million pairs of its soft, breathable, sexy undergarments, which are made from recycled fabrics and range in size from XS to 3XL (and expanding). With sustainability as one of its top priorities, Parade’s aiming to achieve carbon positivity by 2025. Comfortable, flattering, and mindfully made, Parade offers a new vision of sexiness, one that’s multidimensional and welcoming.
Why we love them
Everything in Parade’s lineup — from the Triangle Bralette to the High Rise Boyshort — is sustainable, weightless, and supportive. The barely there mesh undies are as breathable as they come and perfect for all-day wear, and the bralettes come with varying levels of extra support so they actually work for women with larger cup sizes. Parade’s trademarked AirBand is a highlight for KCM’s Ciara: it offers seamless support without any digging. Parade donates 1% of sales to charities supporting the LGBTQ+ community, women’s reproductive rights, and sexual education, to name a few causes, and our team loves that you can choose an organization in your city for your purchase to support.
