About Likhâ
Founder Nathalie Llorente-Lim knows a thing or two about travel — she’s lived in three continents, four countries, and eight cities in the past 10 years. While enjoying that nomadic lifestyle, she collected treasures from artisans around the world that she’s used to create a home that reflects her personality. At the same time, she couldn’t believe how little money those artisans received for their work, particularly in her home country of the Philippines. Determined to help, Llorente-Lim founded Likhâ to give Filipino craftspeople access to new markets, help them create products that appeal to a global audience, and guarantee that they’re paid 25 percent above the living wage.

Why we love them
It can be tough to find ethically made products that are a) right for your space and b) reasonably priced. Likhâ manages to make both happen, whether you’re looking for an elegant storage basket, unique coasters, or smile-inducing animal-shaped planters that brighten up any space. We’re more than a little obsessed with the planters, which include adorable options like a sheep, a hanging hummingbird, a tiny sloth, and too many others to list. They’re made of sustainable coconut fibers and are perfect for holding those low-maintenance succulents. For something a little more sophisticated, we’re loving the Scallop Basket, which is perfect for holding books, a throw, or a large indoor plant. And for a conversation piece you can take anywhere, we recommend one of Likhâ’s handwoven clutches, offered in vibrant colors and patterns along with versatile neutrals.
