About Kind Laundry
Step aside, pods — there’s a new laundry detergent in town. Founded by Angie Tran and Bernard Law, Kind Laundry makes powerful, eco-friendly detergent sheets that help cut down on the millions of plastic jugs that get thrown away every year. The sheets are made with just a few simple ingredients, like tea seed oil and plant-derived glycerol, that won’t irritate sensitive skin. And beyond their zero-waste appeal, they’re convenient: They’re easily packable, there’s no sticky mess or measuring guesswork when doing a load of laundry, and there’s a subscription option to make restocking easy. It’s a new-and-improved approach to laundry we’re totally on board with.
Why we love them
Kind Laundry was founded on the principle that small changes to our consumption habits can have a significant impact on the environment, and Kind makes it easy to make a change. Our colleague Bianca can testify that even some of the most popular detergent pods are notorious for staining clothes (after not fully dissolving). There’s no such issue here: Kind’s colorless detergent sheets are formulated to dissolve in cold and warm water alike, and come in both fragrance-free and refreshing Ocean Breeze versions.
