About Kent

Tired of the lacy, overly complicated panties she used to wear, Stacy Anderson spent years on the hunt for a pair of straightforward, cotton underwear that she’d feel comfortable in. When her options came up short, Anderson decided to create underwear that fit her personal style and didn’t harm the environment. She founded Kent and, after research and feedback, settled on 100 percent organic pima cotton, grown ethically in Peru, as her ideal material. Focused on sustainability at every stage, Kent’s underwear is made in a family-owned factory in California, shipped in compostable packaging, and is designed to decompose within 90 days of being planted or composted. Environmental stewardship meets everyday ease.

Why we love them

There’s a reason doctors advise you to wear cotton underwear: It’s more breathable than pairs made of synthetics like polyester and nylon, which means they’re less likely to cause infections or irritation. Kent’s undies are the epitome of good-for-you underwear, whether you’re a thong, briefs, or bikini kind of person. If you’ve already got a favorite style in mind, check out Kent’s multi-packs, like The Work Week, to easily upgrade your whole underwear drawer. If not, take the Quick Fit Quiz, which was developed based on feedback from hundreds of women, to find the perfect pair. When your Kent panties are on their last leg, toss them in with your compost pile and they’ll return to the earth in 90 days.
