About FEED
Founded by Lauren Bush Lauren in 2007, FEED’s mission is based in the belief that food is a universal human right. While traveling the world with the UN Food Program as a college student, Lauren Bush Lauren witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of childhood poverty and hunger. Shortly after graduating, Lauren combined her love of design with her desire for change and launched FEED’s line of functional, yet stylish, bags, whose purchase pays for meals for children in need. Every purchase helps provide school meals (from 10 meals for a set of produce bags to 100 meals for a leather tote), through direct donations to the brands on-the-ground partners. To date, the FEED community has given 126 million school meals to children living with food insecurity – and counting. FEED is committed to tackling one of the world’s most overwhelming and complex challenges one nourishing step at a time.
Why we love them
More often than not, “out of sight, out of mind” becomes common with humanitarian issues.
