It’s been a couple of years since the weighted blanket market launched therapeutic blankets into the mainstream, but at the moment, we need help with sleep more than ever. Inspired by a sublime nap under a weighted blanket one weekend, founder Kathrin Hamm decided to create a plastic-free version that kept her from overheating while enjoying hours of heavenly, uninterrupted sleep. Bearaby’s handmade blankets are made with sustainable materials like organic cotton, Eucalyptus wood pulp, and velvet created from recycled marine plastic — and their open-weave design allows for enough airflow to keep even hot sleepers cool. Plus, they look pretty great on your bed or couch.
Why we love them
