About Avec
Bored with the uninspiring mixers they’d been using for their cocktails, business-school pals Alex and Dee decided to switch things up. After a lot of trial and error, the two brewed up something impressive: Mixers that are refreshing, made with 80% to 90% less sugar, flavored with real juice and botanical extracts rather than so-called “natural flavors,” and are just as tasty with alcohol as they are solo. They named the brand Avec, the French word for “with,” because that’s how they’re meant to be enjoyed: With alcohol, with friends, with family. Why we love them
Team KCM loves Avec’s mixers because they’re just so easy. (We no longer have to juice citrus, muddle herbs, or boil up flavored simple syrups anytime we’re in the mood for something more sophisticated than a vodka soda.) The resulting cocktails taste like a premium tipple at half the price, which makes hosting parties simple.
