Chef Erin French of The Lost Kitchen shares her weekend picks with us
If you caught my Instagram Live with Erin French a couple of weeks ago, you know just how amazing her story is. The chef and owner of the Lost Kitchen just came out with her incredible memoir, Finding Freedom, about her difficult journey to opening her wildly successful restaurant, and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Read on for her weekend picks.
What I’m watching: The new season of The Handmaid’s Tale. The wait is finally over!
What I’m reading: Freedom Farm by Jennifer Neves. A beautifully written modern read with all the old fashioned feels of an E.B. White tale.
What I’m wearing: Luksin organic Maine-made clothing and Le Chameau rubber boots. They’re perfect for Maine mud season and for spring yard work and around the farm chores.
What I’m listening to: Christine and the Queens’ album, La Vita Nuova
What I’m cooking: Rogan Josh, an aromatic spiced Indian stew. It’s made with lamb or beef and is delicious served over rice with a dollop of raita and a handful for fresh spring pea tendrils.
