The happy couple shares what they’re reading, watching, and listening to
Marlo Thomas and Phil Donahue have a new book and just celebrated their 40th anniversary. Here’s what’s been keeping them busy…
What to Watch: We’ve practically been living on Netflix. Two favorites: Unorthodox, a heartbreaking and enlightening peek into a mysterious religious sect. And, of course, Ryan Murphy’s new series Hollywood. That’s catnip for us!
What to Follow: Who else? The wonderful Leslie Jordan on Instagram!
What to Read: What Makes a Marriage Last, of course!
What to Listen to: I cannot get enough of the podcast, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend! Everything the man does makes me fall down laughing. Phil is our resident news and sports junkie, so you’ll typically find him tuned in to The Daily — that is, until the ball games are back on the air.
What to Cook: We’ve been cooking my mother’s Sicilian recipes a lot while hunkered down, but we were so excited to discover that Joanna Gaines’ new cookbook, Magnolia Table, Volume 2, features not one but TWO Lebanese recipes, which my father would adore. Fatayah, anyone?
