Sylvie’s Love –– a beautiful story of Black love and a definite must-see.
What to Read:
A Promised Land by Barack Obama. It’s by far the most riveting literary work of 2020. Highly recommend that folks give it to everyone they love –– or anyone with the stamina to read 700+ enriching pages.
What to Listen to:
“Never Like This” (feat. Adeline) by Jonathan Singletary. I’m a little biased but it’s a beautiful duet by my husband and my quarantine sister-wife Adeline (who also DJ’d our stoop wedding!)
What to Cook:
Aurora James’ banana bread, which is so simple for newbie chefs like me and undoubtedly the best-smelling dish I’ve ever made.
What to Wear:
My Melody Ehsani sweatsuit in Canary Yellow. Everyone needs a sweatsuit to live in through quarantine.
