Try one of these yoga or HIIT classes right in your living room

If you’re looking for a way to get moving but are lacking the motivation — or the space! — you’re not alone. We’ve compiled a list of some of the most fun, effective, and motivational (not to mention free) YouTube video workouts that don’t require a ton of floorspace or experience.

#1 Yoga With Adriene

You may have heard about Yoga with Adriene, especially since this YouTube account skyrocketed to popularity during quarantine (and now has more than 10 million subscribers). Adriene’s known for her calm and soothing nature and her judgement-free practice, which offers something for all levels. We particularly love her Foundations of Yoga series, which really helps you build a base for practicing yoga. With a variety of options like “Yoga for Mental Health,” Under 10 Minute Yoga Practices,” and even “Yoga For When You Feel Dead Inside,” you’re bound to find something that fits your exact mood.

Meet the Pilates Queen of YouTube. Nicole, a barre and Pilates instructor from Australia, creates 20-30 minute workouts ranging from yoga and stretch routines, high intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts, full-body workouts, and Pilates and barre workouts. All you need is a mat, and it feels like you’re in an actual Pilates class (mentally and physically!)

You are guaranteed to have an amazing workout with Miss Chloe Ting. Julia from KCM tried one of HIIT classes and says, “You will FEEL it! I only lasted 10 minutes, and the next day I felt that good kind of sore.” Chloe popped off during quarantine after her flat tummy workouts went viral on TikTok. Known as the “Chloe Ting Challenge,” people posted their pictures of their progress, and it was impossible not to notice the results. 

Chloe creates free workouts that combine high intensity interval training (HIIT), core strengthening, leg and arm toning, and workouts designed to get you the perfect peach booty! Her website also offers workout plans depending on what part of your body you want to focus on. (We also love that she offers low impact options in her workouts!)

Denise Austin is a renowned fitness expert who has been around for more than 40 years. Her workouts get you up and moving. Plus, they’re so enjoyable you’ll truly have a smile on your face the whole time. Denise’s YouTube channel has some of her most popular videos — ranging from whole body toning workouts, target toning exercises, yoga and Pilates.

#6 Rachel Okesola

Rachael Okesola is the creator of Afrifitness, a channel that focuses on African fitness and wellness. If you’re tired of the same old workout routines, mix it up with Rachael’s dance-focused workouts. The Afrifitness training style incorporates various techniques including African dance, resistance training, and high intensity interval training (HIIT) as you move to the beats of African music. These workouts are so fun, and they’re bound to make you dance, groove, and most importantly, SWEAT.
