Taylor Swift swept the board at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards, taking home nine awards including those for video of the year and song of the year, for Anti-Hero. She’s now tied for most wins in one night, and is second only to Beyoncé for overall wins.

*NSYNC, who’ve not been on stage together for a decade, made a surprise appearance— fueling rumors that they’re set to reunite to record songs for the third Trolls movie.

The evening ended abruptly with 13 categories yet to be announced after Swift won the evening’s coveted video of the year award. It’s no wonder time was at a premium — the show featured more than 20 performances, including one by Sean “Diddy” Combs, who took home the Global Icon Award.

The crowd went wild when Shakira, who became the first South American artist to win the Video Vanguard Award, performed a 10-minute medley of her greatest hits, giving her a standing ovation. The show concluded with a joint performance from Grandmaster Flash, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and LL Cool J, celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.

That’s enough about the music — we know what you really want to know about is the evening’s best looks. We’ve got the rundown, below.
