Tonight’s a big night on The Golden Bachelor: hometown dates! In case you’re not familiar, it’s when Debbie, Peg, and Cindy get to bring Mel back to their respective necks of the woods and introduce him to their families. They’ll get the Golden Bachelor’s undivided attention; there won’t be anybody waiting in the wings to “steal” him for a second — so this will be a pivotal moment for each of the relationships.

It all airs tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern on ABC, but if you can’t wait that long for a taste of what’s to come, there is good news. We’ve got a sneak peek of Debbie and Mel’s date right here. In case you need a refresher, Debbie hails from Denver, Colo., and used to work as a fitness instructor. It makes perfect sense that she brings Mel to Red Rocks, the park and amphitheater that’s home to many concerts and fitness events.

Aside from the breathtaking setting, Debbie’s hometown date will be unique because, unlike the other women on The Golden Bachelor, she’s never been married and doesn’t have children. That means Mel won’t be meeting with any offspring, but he may have a sit-down with Debbie’s relatives and friends. In the clip below, she starts to explain to Mel why she never tied the knot. Watch the teaser and tune in next week to see how the rest of this potentially awkward conversation unfolds:
