About Bake Me A Wish
No birthday is complete without a cake, and Bake Me A Wish knows that better than anyone. After struggling to find an NYC bakery that could send his mother a tiramisu, Josh Kaye teamed up with some friends to create a company that could. More than 15 years later, Bake Me A Wish offers nationwide delivery for its cakes, cookies, and other desserts — Alaska and Hawaii included. Along the way, the company has worked to bring the same joy to those in need of a boost. In 2007, Bake Me A Wish launched Operation: Birthday Cake and has since delivered tens of thousands of cakes to U.S. military personnel wherever they’re stationed, stateside or abroad. Through its charitable arm, BMAW Cares, the company donates 5 percent of every order toward gifting and financial donations to various organizations. Yes, your cake is a gift that keeps on giving.
Why we love them
We can’t imagine a sweeter feeling than being surprised with a fresh cake on your birthday, and Bake Me A Wish makes that possible with overnight shipping, customizable greeting cards, and of course, incredibly delicious desserts. KCM’s Lisa says the Chocolate Mousse Torte Cake was the perfect size, arrived in great condition, and made her father’s 88th birthday celebration really special. If cake isn’t your dessert of choice, Bake Me A Wish carries cookies, brownies, pies, and cheesecakes as well, from classic Black and White Cookies to Black Forest Cheesecake. Our colleague Alissa can confirm that the fudgy brownies do not skimp on the chocolate and were a hit with her friends.
