There’s more good news out of the Golden Bachelor universe! A few days after former lead Gerry Turner revealed he’s seeing someone new — and feeling great following a cancer diagnosis — another fan favorite from the show has announced a relationship of her own.

Susan Noles, the 68-year-old wedding officiant from Pennsylvania, quickly delighted audiences on The Golden Bachelor with her signature sense of humor and warm personality. While she didn’t win Gerry’s heart, she did make a lasting impression on viewers and her cast mates. Today, she co-hosts the Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast alongside fellow contestant Kathy Swarts, and she’s also competing on the new Hulu reality show Got to Get Out. As if that’s not enough excitement, Noles revealed some more good news: She’s got a new romantic partner. Read on for everything we know about the lucky guy.

Susan Noles’ new boyfriend revealed

On Monday’s Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast, Noles told Swarts that she’s seeing someone, saying she’s “found her person.” She said that after being on dating sites “forever,” she found him in an unexpected place: Tinder.

“Kathy and I were having a fabulous vacation [in Saint Martin], and one night we went to bed, she was upstairs, I was in my room and I was playing games on my computer and I could not sleep,” Noles recounted. “And I thought, you know what, what do I got to lose? I went on Tinder.”

So who’s the gent? His name is Frédéric, and he’s from France. Noles said, “He speaks French, so when he asked for the first meet, I made Kathy come” — because she knew her friend’s language skills would come in handy. We also know, per Noles, that he’s “tall and handsome,” “as silly as I am,” and “a great cook.”

Before they met up for the first time, Noles loaded a translation app on her phone to facilitate communication. Swarts introduced the couple and then left them to their devices — literally. Of course, “there was a lot of chemistry” on the date, which Noles says lasted three hours. For the rest of the trip, they spent “every waking moment” together. Good thing her pal Swarts had no problem being the third wheel.

“She couldn’t wipe the smile off her face,” Swarts said. “Once I got to meet him and talk to him, he was such a nice guy and genuinely nice to me, and I thought, okay, you know what, she might have struck gold here.”

At first, Noles says she was hesitant to share the news of her budding relationship on the podcast — but after determining she and Frédéric feel the same way about each other, she felt comfortable letting the world in on this big update. “I know what I felt, but wanted to make sure we were both on the same page and I just have to share that we are. We were having fun and we’re just seeing where things are going and now, I can honestly say he’s the real deal.”

She’s since traveled four times to Saint Martin, where Frédéric lives, and has started taking French lessons. The two have said “I love you,” and the former Golden Bachelorette contestant said, “I’ve found the love of my life.”

Will there be wedding bells in the future? Perhaps, but not necessarily: The professional officiant says, “I don’t know that I have to get married, but I would want a commitment.”

She also had some wise words to share with the listeners: “See everybody, it does work when you least expect it,” later adding, “Just when you think it’s never going to happen, it happens.”
