Best Met Gala Red Carpet Outfit Photos 2024: Zendaya, JLo

It’s the first Monday in May, so you know what that means: Fashion’s biggest night has arrived. Scores of stars hit the Met Gala red carpet, ready to strut their stuff. This year’s dress code for the high-profile event was “The Garden of Time,” to complement the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s latest exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” The exhibit, on display May 10-September 24, “will serve as a metaphor for the fragility and ephemerality of fashion and a vehicle to examine the cyclical themes of rebirth and renewal,” according to the Met’s website, and feature approximately 250 garments an accessories — many of which are typically never displayed since they’re very fragile.

As implied by the dress code, many A-listers donned bold floral designs — and even though Miranda Priestly would not have been impressed with florals for spring, we have to say that many of these looks were, in fact, groundbreaking. Here are some of our favorite ensembles from the 2024 Met Gala.
