Must-Watch Movies and Shows Leaving Netflix in February 2023
Versailles: Seasons 1-2 (Leaving 2/9/23)
Streaming services were made for binge-able content, and Versailles is just that. It’s a lavish drama about the reign of Louis XIV and all of the murder, sex, and intrigue that came along with it. Fans of the show say they’ve watched it repeatedly because it’s so gripping. Oh, and if you’re the kind of viewer who loves accurate and opulent costuming, this show will meet all of your aesthetic needs, too.
Shutter Island (Leaving 2/28/23)
If you’re more in the mood to cross a classic thriller off your “must-watch” list, be sure to catch this Scorsese flick by the end of the month. Leonardo DiCaprio plays a U.S. Marshal investigating a psychiatric facility on Shutter Island after a patient goes missing. That’s all we’ll say since this one is very easy to spoil (seriously, don’t read up on it, just watch).
Sorry to Bother You (Leaving 2/28/23)
If you’re in the mood to challenge yourself instead of purely unwinding, it might be time to embrace something…weird. Lakeith Stanfield stars as an underpaid slacker who lives in an alternate present-day version of Oakland, California. While languishing at his telemarketing job, he discovers a key to success and soon finds himself in a very strange, unexpected series of situations.
