Being originally from California, I’m used to taking summer trips to the coast, and getting in to shape well ahead of time to feel beach confident. However, since moving from LA to New York last year for Katie, I’ve since learned a few things about living here: the winters are much longer, and it’s much easier to partake in the bar and restaurant scene. And as a result, I started slacking off on hitting the gym, and watching what I ate a little less.
When Katie mentioned staff diet, I said sign me up! I’ve never tried a diet program before, and I thought why not! I’m trying out the Fast Diet—which in a nutshell means on 2 days per week, I can eat no more than 600 calories. The other 5 days are eating nutritious food, all in moderation. My goal is to shed those leftover winter pounds, and I hope the Fast Diet can help!

Before I went off to college years ago, everyone teased that I’d better be prepared for the weight gain that came along with pulling all nighters and cramming last minute for exams. But as my luck would have it, I didn’t actually get my “freshman 15” until after I graduated from school. For the past several years that I’ve been out in the working world, I’ve struggled to balance my weight with my rigorous work schedule — up and down, up and down! I never have enough time in the day to work out and I continue to make the big mistake of eating off the office “junk food table” time and time again. Now, as the summer heats up, I’m determined to shed the extra pounds I’ve put on over the years.
I’m doing the vegan before six diet to slim down, shape up, and train myself to eat things that are better for me. Each day, before six o’clock I eat a very regimented diet of fruits, veggies, and grain…after six I’m allowed to have meat and animal products in moderation.

I wanted to try a new diet in an effort to lose a few pounds. I am also looking for healthier food choices that I can incorporate into a permanent nutrition lifestyle for my.
I’m trying out the The Fast Metabolism Diet, which basically means eating three full meals and at least two snacks a day, but changing what I eat every day so that I shock my metabolism. Let’s see if it works!
