Amy Ridgeway, Charles Cullen’s friend and colleague, went undercover as a confidential informant to help authorities catch him. Her identity was recently revealed for the first time in the new book The Good Nurse by Charles Graeber.

Charles Cullen is currently serving 17 life sentences in prison without the possibility of parole for the deaths of 29 people. Some believe Cullen may have murdered up to 400 people ranging in age from 21 to 91. John Shanagher’s father, John Senior, was one of them.

Connie survived the explosion caused by a pipe bomb planted in her car. It was when she was in the hospital that her daughter delivered the shocking news that her husband was behind the plot.
