Katie visits the set of “Hot in Cleveland” for an exclusive reunion with the cast members of “The Mary Tyler Moore Show.” Friends for 40 years, these women have now banded together to support Valerie Harper in her courageous battle with cancer.
The Mary Tyler Moore Show changed television forever and opened up a new world for the girls who grew up watching it, including Katie. It made women across the country think they could “make it on their own.” The women – Valerie Harper, Betty White, Cloris Leachman, Georgia Engel and of course, the one who could turn the world on with her smile, Mary Tyler Moore herself – inspired a generation of women with their style, sass and spunk. Katie sat down with the ladies of The Mary Tyler Moore Show on the set of Hot in Cleveland where they were back at work together again for the first time in more than three decades.
